Today I'm sharing a trio of cards using the Hero Arts August 2026 release Whimsical Wheels Collection. Be sure to also check out the new Spooky Smiles Collection if you are a fan of the Big Mouth Slider Dies, for fun interactive Halloween cards.

But I digress.. ;) I was sent the fall themed sentiments from the Whimsical Wheels Collection so I had the pleasure of digging through my stash to create. (But know, I placed my order for the rest of this adorable collection earlier today. xx)

I pulled a dozen or more different products, across Hero Arts and Spellbinders, as ideas for use with these fall sentiments. Surprisingly, my focal images were none of the ones I had previously pulled. While digging around for an embossing folder, my eye landed on the You're a Classic Collection. I love the statues and the whimsical accessories included in their stamp set. So that got me thinking. These two cards are the result.

I stamped both statues in grey dye ink then used the coordinating stencil to color them with Lost Shadow and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks.
I treated our lady statue like a paper doll, adding a witch hat atop her head and a dangling pair of shoes from her hand. After die cutting and coloring the crystal ball, I covered with Glaze 'n Glue and a sprinkle of glitter.
Instead of dressing up the dude, I chose to create a sign for him to hold, using one of the pressed sentiments.
For a more serious card, I chose to feature the beautiful die elements, lightly inked, for a clean and simple (less silly) card.
