It's the 15th of the month which brings a new digital release from Beat.Paper! I had so much fun creating with her Ponyo images. In fact, my girls and I sat down to watch this awesome Studio Ghibli film as inspiration.
Thanks to the layering abilities of PNG files, I was able to layer the captain's hat atop Sosuke's head before printing. I colored the images with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, using GB4 Goldenrod and BO3 Amber for Ponyo's hair. The background was created with Sassy & Crafty's Mermaid Tails Stencil, Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink**, a spritz of Dina Wakley's White Gloss spray**, and matte enamel dots from Sweet Sentiment's shop (affiliate link). The sentiment is from a Disney stamp set in my stash. Can't you picture sweet Ponyo running atop the fishy waves trying to reach Sosuke?
