Well, THIS fox says, "Hey friend!" (I know, I know.. But I still love that song and Ylvis is great! Really.. and they aren't bad on the eyes either.)
Back to this sweet card! I used the last two releases from Strawberry Jude Stamps to create it! The waving fox is from Falling with Fox and Raccoon and the flower and sentiment are from Grateful Florals. I realize the scale either makes the flowers very large, or the fox super tiny. In either case, I think it is fun and whimsical. The chose to keep the colors limited to greens, yellow-orange, and red. These colors are so warm and remind me of autumn. I lightly swept distress ink on the card front above the flowers to create a warm sunny sky. To keep the card simple, and keep focus on the scene within the postage die cut window, I wrapped twine along the lower panel and tied a bow. The twine was held in place with the foam tape I used to adhere the panel to the front of my top-folding card. For a touch more color and to break the stark white around the card front, I simply drew lines around the perimeter of the card front using the same color Copic marker that was used on the flowers.
