Guys, the Mythical Kracken set from Kindred Stamps just cracks me up. Those that know me, also know that I love a good clean joke and this stamp set delivers. The design is simple and fun, and the perfect little note to tuck in a gift.
I stamped everything using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and embossed the card front with clear embossing powder. I used Distress Markers, Distress Inks, and new Kuretake Gansai Tambi Gem Colors watercolors (on the purple monster) and a water brush to watercolor the images. The Gem Color watercolors are not as deep in color on lighter cardstock, so I added some distress ink to darken her up a bit. But boy does she have beautiful sheen!
The cards are 3.5" x 5"; I cut some 5" x 7" watercolor cards in half. They fit in an A2 envelope with wiggle room and are just a great size--not too small or too big. If you have any good (clean) jokes, I'd love to hear them! Leave them in the comments please! Until next time.. xo
