Vintage Christmas Upcycled Treat Box and More

Today is my first official post for the Gecko Galz blog!  I'm delighted to be joining such a fabulous team!  I also really love how much fun I'm having playing with these gorgeous digital files.  I participated in two swaps with Gecko Galz last month -- an ornament/card swap within the group as well as a gift swap amongst the DT.  These are the projects I created and mailed.  I must admit, it was hard to part with them!  LOL  Do you ever love your projects so much that you wish to keep them?  The challenge prompt this month is Holly and Ivy; I translated that to Christmas (but you may find some holly in and about my projects below as well).

Supplies used:
Altered Christmas Collage
Christmas Whimsies Collage
Christmas Pin Ups Collage
Retro Christmas Collage
12 Days of Christmas Collage
Holiday Tag Craft Kit (still on sale for $1)
Old Fashioned Christmas Collage

I must admit that my husband thought the tag was fun too.  LOL

For this sweet treats box, I upcycled a cherry tomato clamshell container.  Isn't it the best?!  I will be doing this from now on.  I matted the top and bottom of the lid portion that had the label showing using patterned paper from my stash.  The container held more than I expected which was a bonus.

The next pair of projects were sent to my card/ornament swap partner.  I don't often make square cards, but it was the only layout that I really loved.  Lots of fun layers with fun dimension on both the card and the ornament/tag.  I used my typewriter for all of the sentiments.

Don't forget that you get a free (gorgeous) collage sheet each week with any purchase over $2.  The sheet this week is beautiful -- vintage holiday with pink!  I love pink for Christmas (and plan on making my purchase to get the sheet free too)!
