Today I'm sharing a collection of spring inspired projects using the Spellbinders February 2026 release 3D Felt Decor Spring Collection. As the name implies, the new 3D Felt Decor Spring Collection dies are intended to be cut from felt. But, my vintage book that I use from crafting was staring at me, begging to be used with these dies. I hope you like my versions of projects. Before I began, I coated my vintage book page on both sides with a thin layer of craft glue. The book pages are far more brittle than regular paper so I hoped the layers of glue would help reinforce the page a bit. For the most part it did, but some of the stitched edges did start to crumble, but I think it just leans into the vintage feel even more.
My youngest claimed it, so mission accomplished. :) I used regular sewing thread for the stitching since it wouldn't stress the stitching holes as much. I reinforced the stitched areas with more glue as well. Felt would have been a far easier venture, but I adore how lovely the paper egg turned out.
While I was playing with the vintage book page, I decided to use on a collection of wee notes and tags using the Spring Embellishments Felt Decor Etched Dies S3-576. I love to tuck wee tags into packages and treats. To mat the postage tag (since there isn't a stitched matting die), I trimmed down a piece of book page to 1 1/8" x 2".
