This is just a fun surprise blog post for fans of a certain iron throne using Royal Throne from Kindred Stamps. I have a list of Father's Day card ideas using the ever amazing Kindred Stamps and I think you may just like my fun twist to this card. Oh, and the card background is a FREE digital download in my shop!! Yup, you know I love to share!
The card design is rather simple. I Copic colored our brave guard and fussy cut out. I trimmed the Uncle Daddy Background to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", leaving a very thin border when mounted onto my A2 sized kraft card base. I stamped that amazing iron throne using Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, so it wouldn't be quite as bold as the sentiment. "IS COMING" was stamped using VersaFine Onyx Black ink just beneath the throne, and "Father's Day", from my stash, was embossed in white on a strip of black cardstock. I simply mounted this black strip and our uncle daddy guard onto the card front using foam tape. The funny (albeit incestuously yuck) message only comes moments after seeing the card, making it that much funnier.
