Born to Dink is perfect for those that love to play pickleball. While I have yet to play myself, I am surrounded by pickleball courts in my area. One day, I'm sure I'll have to grab a paddle, enter the court, and try to stay out of the Kitchen. ;)
These adorable characters from Favorite Side Effect are perfectly sized for wee notecards. One A2 sized card cut in half creates these two top-folding notecards, sized 2.75" x 4.25". I used the bent arms as jumping legs on the capsule to make it look like he is jumping giddily into the air, tapping his heels together. They make me giggle.
I was inspired by bold retro stripes for my Ugh cards. Purple, green, orange, and black seemed like a great color palette for bold, simple cards. The top card gives me serious Beetlejuice vibes too - with intentionally not straight black stripes atop the purple panel, black splatter, and green shadow behind the white Ugh.
My final group of cards features the most adorably terrified Dumpster Fire. I made four dumpster fires assembly line style, using the same card layout for all four. I love using polaroid style layouts and I thought that layout would work well for this guy too. I merely altered the sentiment on them and the background color for each dumpster color - green on pink and blue on green. I embossed the ground layer with Crackle Paint 3D Embossing Folder E3D-156 to give that gravelly pavement feel. Glitter cardstock for the flame gives it just that extra fun twinkle too.
If it wasn't so cold outside, I would have run out to my crafty cottage and grabbed googly eyes. LOL But, I was too cozy inside for that. I used white gel pen to color in the pupil area on the die cut to heighten the look of AAAHHHH. ;)
