Sweet Sentiment's Cool December Release

Welcome to the December release with Sweet Sentiment (affiliate links when available; thank you!).  This month we have characters that love the cold; perfect for your winter projects. I've created a fun collection of projects using all 3 of the new stamp sets.

Flippin' Cool
Seal the Deal
Where It's Warm
Man Plans
Sweet Sentiment Premium Cardstock
Gelly Roll Pen - White (Amazon aff.)
Rolodex Die from Jaded Blossom

I colored all images with Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers on Sweet Sentiment Premium Cardstock.  I stamped all images with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink which is a no-no for alcohol markers, but I learned you can alcohol marker color with it only on Sweet Sentiment Premium Cardstock if you let it sit for a day before coloring.  (Which is AMAZING!)  This reason and how beautifully it works with my Karin brush markers has me sold forever.

I tried to keep a similar color scheme across all projects, aside the pink Valentines themed tag.

I created the ice drifts with hand cut pieces of vellum.

A very simple card design with lots of sequin snow.  The snowy ground is torn printer paper.

This dang penguin is my favorite.  I love snark and he screams all the snarky sentiments to me.  I typed the sentiment on the mini card on the left and used a sentiment (below penguin) from older set Man Plans.

For these smaller (or simpler) projects, I used my typewriter for the bear tag and "seal of approval" sentiments.  The exercise sentiment on the rolodex card is also from Man Plans.  I actually really love the "seal of approval".  His expression is so lackluster; it cracks me up!
