Welcome to the March release with i-crafter. (Affiliate links used in this post; I appreciate your support!) Today I'm sharing a card perfect for Mother's Day!
Supplies used:
Shadow Box Card (221022)
To make the flower fuller, I cut four of the largest flower. I curled the petals and stacked two and then cut the petals apart from the final two flowers. I then layered the extra single petals behind the flower to make it larger. To finish the flower, I layered the extra pieces as shown, with scraps of cardboard between the layers for extra dimension. I tucked the leftover two petals behind the word "mother" on the bottom--they look like smaller flowers or buds.
Bonus, the card folds flat to fit inside an A2 sized envelope. (As a note: I cut the back panel for the shadow box card myself. Cut a piece measuring 5.5" x 4.75", scoring 0.5" and 4.25" along the 4.75" side.)
