I used the following Distress Oxide Inks for my stenciled panels:
Victorian Velvet
Seedless Preserves
Dried Marigold
Carved Pumpkin
Twisted Citron
Mowed Lawn
I inked scraps of paper with the oxide colors to layer behind the sentiment banners so everything coordinated.
I inked scraps of paper using the same oxides as the stencils, then die cut the flowers and leaves. The darker green leaves were die cut from a scrap of green that I had in my stash.
The flowers are very quick and easy to stitch and really look so lovely. This version was my daughters' favorite.
I chose one of my favorite complementary color pairings for my last card - orange and blue. The orange flowers make this look like an orange tree on first glance. I love it! I chose to flip the tree trunk on this card and actually prefer how it looks.
