I'm on the i-Crafter blog today with a pair of super cute lip balm holders. (Affiliate links used in this post; I appreciate your support!) Christmas is now behind us and the focus has shifted to Valentine's Day in the crafty world. I wanted to use the new Puppy Face Wiper Insert for my final share this month and incorporate one of awesome die sets from Lori Whitlock. I thought combining the puppy with the lip balm would be perfect for my girls (and, quite possibly, as classroom favors this Valentine's Day)!
Supplies used:
Puppy Face Wiper Insert by Lynda Kanase
Money Roll and Lip Balm Box by Lori Whitlock
Don't forget to check out the new i-Mend Self Mending MAGNETIC PRO Deck -- it replaces one of your cutting plates and is absolutely incredible!! Check out the video at the link above.
I love that the entire piece is just a single cut and is a great way to use up 6"x6" paper. I also incorporated vintage book pages onto the sweet puppies' faces. I love the added interest. I lightly inked the edges of the book page piece, the face, ears, and tongue.
For the front panel, I used red foil paper and die cut only the "BEST FRIENDS" from the longer word die in the Puppy Face Wiper. I think these would be a hit and a birthday party too!! Or anytime! LOL I mean, honestly, who wouldn't love to receive one of these cute little treats?
