I'm back with Sweet Sentiment's Age is Irrelephant stamp set. (If you missed my first project using this adorable set, you can see it on my blog HERE.) I created this slimline card after being inspired by the pink elephants in Dumbo.
The best part about this card, aside from the awesome pops of pink on black, is that it required no coloring. I embossed the mama elephant with bright pink ink onto a piece of pink cardstock. Then, to mimic the look of the elephants in Dumbo's drunken dream, I lightly inked the bottom of the elephant with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, as seen below. I wanted to create an eclipse style card and used the bold Gina Marie Whiskey Bottle Alpha set. I shadow layered each of the letters with the same pink so they would pop against the background. I just love how this card came together. it is bold and that pink elephant just rocks.
