While we welcome the start of fall, these flamingos are still enjoying the heat and are super thrilled (NOT!) I have had these La-La Land Crafts flamingos since they were released and had yet to use them. Enough was enough.. and I am so glad I finally put these flamazing dudes together. Snarky Flamingos Clear Stamp Set
Neon Lunar Paste in Yellowjacket
Dress My Craft Silicone Spatula Brush
Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink
I die cut all of the flamingo pieces from pink cardstock and then, using a wee blending brush, added contrast with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink.
My finished beauties, after adding the whites to the eyes and black to the pupils and beaks.
I mixed the Neon Lunar Paste in Yellowjacket and Solar Paste in Golden Hour on a scrap of plastic sheeting before applying with my Dress My Craft Silicone Spatula Brush through the Summer Is Here Layering Stencils. (I just purchased that spatula brush and oh mylanta.. it is pretty great to work with.)
I love how colorful and fun both of the cards are. And, of course, who doesn't love their expressions?!
