As promised, The Frolicking Fairy proudly presents Fairy Art! A fun card collaboration between myself and my two young daughters, ages 3 and 1. They love to paint and color, and I thought it would be a fun venture to showcase some of their work on cards!
The best part... Money earned from the sale of a Fairy Art card goes directly in the girls' piggy banks! A fun way to help them save money (best to start saving for college early!) and be a part of mommy's paper crafting fun.
The first card for this month features an adorable monster from BoBunny and sentiment from My Favorite Things. Since the sentiment doesn't say "halloween", it really could be used any time of the year. I added some glossy accents to the horns and his snotty little nose, and my daughter helped add the Nuvo crystal drops. The monster was adhered with foam tape, that my daughter was happy to help remove the backing "skin" (as she called it) so, together, we could attach the monster to his new home on the card front.
I believe my youngest painted this background. She leaves more white space in her work than my eldest. :)
