I had too much fun having the cute ghosts from Boo Crew Etched Dies playing music. They found some vintage sheets (instead of plain old white) for the occasion and their expressions just make me giggle. I used the same colors and patterned paper on all 4 of my projects, starting with this little Boos.
I embossed a piece of vellum using the Musical Notes 3D Embossing Folder and added to the background of both cards.
I embossed the background panel for my violin card as I did for the ghosts above, but used kraft cardstock instead. While hard to see, I did lightly brush Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink onto the Musical Notes 3D Embossing Folder first, spritzed the card panel with water, and then ran through the machine.
My final project is this most awesome Majestic Guitar Box. The debossed details in this die set are incredible. The box strips make the box assembly a breeze as well. You will need 4 box strips total - 2 for the lid and 2 for the bottom of the box. I used heavier weight kraft cardstock and lined both the lid and base with the same patterned paper I've used on all my projects (and also a favorite print). I wanted to keep the box simple, allowing the guitar details to stand out. I chose not to glue on individual frets along the arm of the guitar. The debossed lines were enough for me, but I love that the die includes them just in case.
This patterned paper gives me all of the vintage floral vibes and I love it.
