Oh, what an adorable kit from The Hedgehog Hollow this month! I am a big Waffle Flower fan, and their new release, called Sweet Ice Cream, doesn't disappoint. Alexandra of The Hedgehog Hollow also designed her first word die and stamp set to compliment the set from Waffle Flower, providing many more sentiments to get more mileage out of those sweet mice and their yummy frozen treats! I only used the contents within the kit for these cards, with the exception of the beautiful plaid paper from Lawn Fawn, found in the first kit.
I stamped the ice cream cone images in VersaMark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder to add more visual interest. Glossy accents makes that cherry look super yummy atop that chocolate chip ice cream!
For the shaker, the acetate was from my stash, but those beautiful sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were in this kit! I colored the background with the included Nuvo Pink Shimmer marker, so a hint of color was visible behind the shaker window.
Glossy accents was added to this cherry as well.
Once I got going, I thought of so many fun ways to play with the contents in this kit! The Nuvo marker will take some playing with, to find ways to use it. I hope you enjoy my cards, I love shaking that sweet shaker! Which card do you prefer? Until next time.. xo
