For my final post of the year, I have a sweet notecard Wizards from beat.paper. I decided to use Ron on the front because he is as much a hero as Harry, as are all of his amazing Hogwarts classmates.
The assembly of this smaller notecard is rather basic, but I love how the elements came together. A slightly crumbled torn book page for the background topped with a lightly inked Hogwarts silhouette die cut, stamped with the sentiment "Lumos". Our sweet red-headed Ron Weasley sits atop with his poor snapped wand. I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color the images. For Ron's hair, I used TN2, TN7, and EB3.
The sentiment within is paired with a smaller image of Harry Potter himself. I love what this sentiment means especially as we move into the new year. 2020 was rough, but it wasn't all bad. We should always try to find those sparks of light despite the darkness. Happy New Year!!
