As requested by a friend in the 7 Kids Customers Create! group, I finally decided to play with my Gelli Plate. What a fun experience! My daughters made prints with me and we all had fun playing with inks and the brayer. I was not happy with one of my prints but I thought it would be worth saving just in case. Well, that print became the project below and I really love how it all came together.
I used various stamps from Lavinia purchased from 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store, and used inks from VersaFine Clair on my Gelli Plate for the background. The glow of her lantern was achieved by splattering on Nuvo Shimmer Powder onto the Gelli Plate prior to printing. I just positioned the lantern over that spot for the effect.
