Summer is here and so are these cute little sun bathers. The Kindred Stamps June release is not a big one, but that doesn't mean it isn't super cute! Today I present Kindred Summer, packed with fun in the sun! I also used papers from the new Pool Party paper pack releasing this Friday as well (the only non-Kindred paper is the blue backer to my pocket tag on the right).
I created a pair of gel pockets and a pocket tag with my little Kindred likeness trying not to get sunburned (which is what really happens). I used a couple of my favorite dies from Jaded Blossom to create both styles of pockets. For the gel pockets, I merely die cut a circle from the front panel of each pocket then adhering a small zippy bag with a small squirt of hair gel to the backside of the front panel. Now, these sweet little float girls can be seen playing in the sun in their pool of gel atop a super sweet gift card! lol I created a gel shaker tutorial earlier in my blog post here: Get Kids Crafty! is Jawsome: Liquid Shaker Tutorial.
