Kindred Stamps: Travel to Greece

Welcome to the day 2 of October release peeks with Kindred Stamps (affiliate links used; thank you!).  Today, I created a pair of cards using our new Travel Around the World set -- Travel to Greece.

Supplies used:
Travel to Greece (new)
Card Builder Basics Dies
Damask Stencil (no longer available)

I colored the images with Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers.  For the card above, I layered patterned paper and a globe die from my stash (yay for old map paper).  Simple layers of kraft beneath the map paper and sentiment were the only extra details.

I wanted to create a Greek temple as the background for this sweet Greek woman.  While the temples found are not domed, It worked easier in this application, using the stitched die from Card Builder Basics Dies.

The stitched circle die was the only die I used to create the temple.  For the remaining pieces, cut strips of 0.5" paper into the following lengths - 2x 3.5", 4x 4".  To add details to the column pieces, score 1/8" from each long edge on all 3 columns (see above for reference).  For the other 3 architectural pieces, score 1/8" from only one edge.  To finish, lightly ink the pieces with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink (Amazon affiliate link).  Assembly is easy -- use my card image for reference.
