Day 3 of the Kindred Stamps January Release is underway!! Today I share a fun, simple project using Science Geeks. (I resemble the girl in this project for sure! lol Glasses, nerd, and all!) If you missed my blog shares for the previous days, you can find them by clicking those days here--Let Us Eat Cake and Little Town Life.
I found a trio of mini composition notepads at a local dollar store and thought they would be perfect for a simple project. After stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers, I merely fussy cut out and stamped the sentiments on scraps of white cardstock. I made a template of that framed section on the front of the memo pad first, tracing the inner black frame onto a piece of thinner printer paper and cutting out. I then traced that template onto heavier cardstock and cut out my sentiment panels. All pieces were glued flat to the front of the memo pads so they wouldn't snag or get ripped off as they are thrown in and out of someone's bag, purse, or pocket. I love them!! I hope you do too! Simple and easy, and these wee notepads would make excellent gifts!
