Kindred Stamps Release: Once Upon a Nap

Today the May release for Kindred Stamps is live at 11am EST/8am PST!  Today I want to share a couple projects I created using the new set Once Upon a Nap.  If you missed seeing my share of Two Dudes, you can find them HERE.  Scroll down to see how you could earn $10 in Kindred Stamps credit!

I colored up this sweet couple using my AquaBlend watercolor pencils from Spectrum Noir, adding them to a dreamy cloud background.  The entire card front was spritzed with Tattered Angels shimmer spray, which was difficult to capture.

My second project was this adorable set of fairy godmother rosettes.  I didn't attach them to sticks yet, because I'm not sure if they will become gift tags as they are or be turned into rosette "lollipops".  Either way, they are one cute little bunch of happy.  I cut two strips of 2" x 12" paper to make each of the rosettes, using an entire sheet of 12" x 12" paper for the three rosettes.  Using a 2.5" circle scallop punch, I cut the three rosette centers.  I lightly inked the edges with distress oxide ink in Antique Linen then stenciled the Moon and Stars Stencil with gold metallic ink.  I cut the sentiment from the stamp set (yes, I do that), curving it to fit within the lower section of the scalloped circle.  Then I added my watercolored fairies!
