Kindred Stamps Release: Long Hair, Don't Care

Today is the Kindred Stamps February release day!!  Yippee!  For my final share, I created a very simple gift for a girl using Long Hair, Don't Care and the companion Tower digital image.  Be sure to see my other release projects using Twoo Luv and Bon Appetit!

First I printed the Tower digital image, sized to 4.75" and lightening the color so it would print grey instead of black.  After printing, I cut the image out using a bookmark die from my stash, choosing to leave the image uncolored.  Then, I dry embossed the Medallion Stencil onto a piece of lavender cardstock and glued it to a piece of chipboard for stability.

To hold the bookmark in place, I created a sentiment band using the "Let Your Hair Down" and glued tight to the back of the dry embossed panel.  Now, the bookmark could be slide beneath this band and held to the card front.  To finish the project, I simply clipped a bow to the bookmark and tied ribbon to its top.

The entire Kindred Stamps February release will be available Friday, February 22nd at 8am PST/11am EST. Be sure to check out the Kindred Stamps blog on Friday for the full product release as well as the complete line up of all the Kindred Stamps Design Team projects from release week! • I think one of the other bloggers also printed the tower in grey. Love this digital.
