I am so happy to announce that I am joining the amazing team of ladies with Jaded Blossom!! To get the month kicked off, I’ve created this cupcake card for the current Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge: Flower Power.
I die cut the cupcake liner (and subsequent pocket) from gold shimmer paper and the icing from pink shimmer paper. The tropical flowers were cut from colored paper scraps from my stash and inked with distress inks. The sentiment was stamped with the same distress inks, first in Picked Raspberry and then just at the bottom with Festive Berries, creating a color gradient. The inside sentiment was stamped the same way. I lightly inked the edge of the sentiment tag with Picked Raspberries for just a tad more pink. I just love it!
I mean, who doesn’t love a cupcake?
