I love Vikings. I know they were possibly not the kindest social group around, but I vike them none the less. ;) I created this cutie tag for the current January 2019 Jaded Blossom Challenge: Gift Card Holder or A Tag.
I copic colored this fierce warrior from Jaded Blossom's I Vike You stamp set and fussy cut him out. I layered some strips of chipboard behind his sword to assure it would stand out a bit from the rest of the image once adhered to the tag. I cut the Luggage Tag from chipboard and patterned paper from my stash. The back of the large tag is covered with that same blue paper seen on the bottom fishtail strip. I used the wee "I Vike You" sentiment, stamping within that small round candy die, layering a piece of chipboard behind it for dimension (and to avoid having any of the little points get smooshed with just foam tape not supporting it fully).
For a fun, I added the "I've taken a real viking to you" sentiment on the largest tag, hidden behind the front tag, adding the wee helm stamped atop the sentiment with Catherine Pooler grey ink. I ADORE this little tag, and I hope you do too! xo
