See above template to create the larger money holder. As noted in green, you will need to cut your window opening in the middle panel either by hand or with a diecutting machine.
For the bonus smaller project, begin with a piece of paper 4" x 11". Score along the 11" side at 1" and 6". Score along the 4" side at 0.5" from either side, just like you see in the larger template pictured above. Remove the 0.5" sections along the larger 5" sections, leaving two flaps on either side of the 1" section. The window will be cut in the middle section just like the larger money holder as well.
The above image shows what the holders look like on the inside of the money holder (this is the back of the front portion you see). To help keep your gift card held more securely within in this smaller money holder, attach one of the 1" scrap strips as shown above, leaving it long enough to tuck into the flap at the bottom, like a matchbook.
I found this extra piece made all the difference in keeping the gift card secure. No more flying out when you open the card. LOL
For those that use colored pencils, my amazing crafty friend Tina Fry created this color guide for you. You can find her on IG HERE (@tinajacksonfry). Thank you Tina!!
