My final project for (amazing) HeartcraftPaper is a card I made for my daughter's 5th birthday this month. Like every parent, I simply can't believe she is already 5! She's such an amazing little person, and she loves unicorns! In fact, her party is "pony princess" themed and will include a unicorn piñata that herself, little sister, and myself are making. ((high five)) But, I digress. For this card, I selected Pegasus Prance from HeartcraftPaper's first release in August. I love this collection of unicorn pegasus.
I ink blended the sky then stenciled a shimmery silver in the background over the sky, to simulate the movement of the wind as she soared through the sky. The forest was created using this Forest Stencil and Expanding Embellishment Mousse from Nuvo. (When you heat the mousse, it expands creating this beautiful texture.)
The sentiment on the front and inside are from Concord & 9th. A dash of sequins and some soft fabric flowers completed the card. The birthday girl approved. :)
