I am sharing my first project on the beat.paper Design Team and, naturally, I selected to color her collection Wizards. You'll see more projects with these adorable images, but today I colored the wizard on his broom. Sentiment is also from the collection.
I inked the background with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks, adding a touch of yellow from whatever was left on my blender brush. (laugh) I masked off the sentiment/"moon" first. The wizard was colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. The card base, while not seen as much (I will be replicating this again though) was created by first inking a bolt stencil with gold ink, smooshing onto the card base (as if it were a stamp) then lining up and lightly inking the lightening bolts in the white spaces. Trust me, it looks cool.
