Oh how I love this collection!  My girls have decided to make several of these little ghosts to gift to their teachers.  They pick the colors and stitch them up themselves (as they have with many other Stitch & Create projects in the past).  For my ghost, I elected to add black stitch lines on the edges of the patches and LOVE that added detail.

I immediately ordered faux patent leather sheets so I could make a patent leather boot.  I am so glad I did too!  Faux leather is thicker and the stitching holes while cut do not always poke out easily.  It just took more time to stitch which was fine.  And stitching on shiny black was even trickier!  LOL  I did purchase other pebbled looking faux leathers to make this boot in all sorts of fashions though and can't wait to play more.

I ruffled a scrap of tulle and hot glued within the boot before I stitched and stuffed.  My youngest likes this one best.

I wanted to create a pair of witch (or wizard) hats that were not black.

I created this earthy hat for my dear witchy friend Robin.  I chose warm colors for the flowers and hat just enough sparkle with a gold glittery star.

One of my first Halloween costumes as a toddler was as a little wizard.  My mom made the costume and this little hat made me think of that.  (I have zero memory of this as I was so young, but do remember seeing pictures.)

As with all the other projects from this collection, I wanted to put my spin on this most amazing cat.  I was inspired by my love of all things Wonderland in creating this smiling feline.  To create the lighter pink muzzle, I die cut the front piece from a scrap of paper and sketched the shape I wanted, trimmed the template, and used to cut down a die cut pink felt face piece to fit.  Using a single thread of embroidery floss, I added shine lines to both eyes and top of the nose as well.  I also used a single thread for the teeth and whiskers.

Having seen them all in detail, do you have a favorite?  Feel inspired to try other materials?
