I'm finally blogging my Dia de Muertos and Bewitched wallets, step cards, and bows that I created for the August release with Scrappy Boy Stamps. I'm so happy this is a long weekend! I hope everyone is finding time to rest and relax; myself and the girls are getting crafty like always.
I colored all images with OLO alcohol markers. I've created other projects with this step card (with link to tutorial), you can see them here: You Sparkle Unicorn Fun Fold Cards and Kindred Stamps: Family Can Be Scary. I plan on recording a tutorial on how I use the Lady Wallet Die; I create layers myself instead of using the layering piece included.
We also just finished our first swap in the Scrappy Boy Stamps Inspiration group on Facebook. The memory dex card above was the one I made for my swap partner. :)
I love these step cards!! They are a great way to showcase that gorgeous paper!
I added the step part of the card a bit higher on the card above. In hindsight, I should have attached it a bit lower to allow more space for the sentiment but I didn't realize that would be an issue until after I picked my sentiment. LOL
I tried to position the bow dies to get the most faces. These make the perfect addition to the front of my wallets!
Aren't these so awesome?! I have 4 more bases cut and ready to embellish. They are so much fun and the cutest way to give a little treat or gift card.
I am submitting these to the This is Halloween challenge blog for September and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog: Anything Goes.
I need to get these projects posted to my shop and Etsy, so send me a message if you are interested! xx
