I've created a pair of rolodex cards featuring sweet Bety, owner of Beat.Paper, and myself from her Crafters digital collection! (I'll send the second to her. xx) We've known each other for a few years through the crafty universe and become fast friends (despite the distance). I'm so honored to have my own likeness illustrated by her!
I colored the images using my daughter's Ohuhu alcohol markers, printed the paper ephemera from American Crafts, and added to a rolodex card (die from Jaded Blossom - affiliate link). The background paper was created by my eldest daughter -- cut from the paper bag she gifted a hand dyed towel in for Mother's Day. I loved the striped ombre design and saved the bag in my paper pile. The rosette was made from papers in my stash. Isn't it fun?! I plan on adding Bety's address to the back of my dex card so I always know right where to find it. (I mean, it's in my address book too, but I think this is a fun way to keep it as well.)
