Today I'm sharing cards and treat box using some of the new Spellbinders August 2026 Club products. This month's theme is Crafty Boo Crew, perfect for all your Halloween projects. This month's layering stencil, Peek-A-BOO, is another very clever design. I elected not to ink the jack-o-lantern faces but I think I'm going to ink them up again and reverse the colors for a blue sky and orange pumpkins. I do love to heirloom pumpkins though which is what inspired the blue pumpkins on my card today.
I used the following Distress Oxide Inks on metallic navy card panels:

Tumbled Glass
Salvaged Patina
Rusty Hinge
Carved Pumpkin
Dried Marigold
Hickory Smoke
Black Soot
After inking, I added scraps of paper to cover the ghosts then flicked the inked panel with Sparkle Splatter Effects and Gold Rush Splatter Effects.

I was delighted to receive the Stamp of the Month to create with this month. The little monsters are so cute, holding their Halloween balloons.
I colored the images with OLO Markers, using the same colors for both cards.
I die cut the Trick of Treat using the dies from the Stitching Die of the Month, embossing twice (for even more tattered effect), and then adding atop a grey card panel. I glued in the reserved negatives for the open letters to clean it all up (the letters R, O, and A).
Another fun combo using the other embossing folders. I dragged a white pigment ink pad over the raised edges of the pumpkin faces on the orange panel.
I love to use vintage book pages on my projects and thought it would be lots of fun to create my Franken-Jane using strips of book pages instead. Due to the delicate nature of the vintage pages and to allow for the wording to be seen, I chose not to stitch the strips.
I clipped down one of the two teeth sets, giving her really adorable bucky teeth. Of course, I couldn't resist adding some rosy cheeks and giving her the most luscious purple eyelashes. I bought the false lashes from the dollar store, clipping off two wee sections, adhered behind her eyes. The bats on the sentiment strip were stenciled from this month's stencil set. The bottom pumpkin strip is used with the design flipped - the jack-o-lantern faces are shown debossed into the paper instead!
To round out my collection of projects, I embellished an old plastic produce clamshell. This is one of my favorite upcycles! This clamshell used to hold raspberries and now it holds Halloween treats. :) I merely measure the recessed center section on the lid and trimmed down the distressed, embossed panel to fit.
Using off-cuts from other embossed panels, I layered up the cover design, finishing with candies and sentiment from the stamp of the month. So fun, very sturdy, and a great way to find another use for things that would just end up at the dump.
