Today I'm sharing a card using the Spellbinders October 2025 release Stitched Classic Pooh. He is a large size and designed for felt creations. Aside from the bear himself, the set includes a honey pot and little bee. I chose to use our sweet Pooh a little differently and hope you like my project. I love to use vintage book pages with die cuts and I knew as soon as I received Pooh that I would try this technique with him. I inked the die cut pieces before assembling, gluing several solid layers (cut from scraps) to add solid dimension behind his outstretched arm, leg, and behind his little bee friend. The patterned paper could not have been more perfect as a backdrop too. I wanted to keep the book stack grounded and neutral, opting for inked kraft cardstock, vintage book page for the, well, book pages, and a bronze matte metallic paper for the book binding decorations peeking through. I considered making this a 1st birthday card or baby shower card, but instead selected the sentiment seen from the Little Smiles Sentiments. To provide enough space to build the scene, I used a 5" x 7" card base, cutting the patterned paper to 4" x 6".
