I wanted to share the fun difference between stamping the adorable bear from Concord & 9th's Hi There Bear using Catherine Pooler ink onto watercolor paper and regular cardstock. You can find Catherine Pooler inks at 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store and Crafty Doodle Chick (where I originally purchased mine).
I adore the fuzzy look achieved by stamping (a single time) onto watercolor card. I used Catherine Pooler ink in Sand Castle for both images above and Grape Crush for the balloon. The bear, balloon, and congrats sentiment are from the Hi There Bear set. I did add a bit more ink to the bottom of the balloon stamp and stamped a second time to add a bit more color gradient. I was so surprised at the difference that I had to share. :) The "congrats" card had a metal key ephemera glued to the one paw and was sent to a friend that just bought a new house. The other bear was added to a card below.
I wanted to create both a fall and autumn scene using various Concord & 9th stamps -- Hi There Bear, City Stacks, and Thankful Leaves Turnabout. I watercolored the background panels with Arteza Brush Pens. The yellow plaid on the spring card is from Lawn Fawn. My husband suggested (after I photographed) that I add some flowers to the spring card, which I think I will do before I mail. I decided to leave one tree on the autumn card green since some trees are evergreen after all. :) Until next time friends, have fun getting inky! xo
