Candy Christmas with Spellbinders and Stamperia

Today I'm sharing a collection of projects from the Spellbinders August 2025 new release Candy Christmas Collection with Stamperia.  I love all things gingerbread (and so does my wee one) so playing with these beautifully detailed dies was delightful!  (Affiliate links are used throughout at no additional cost to you.  Any small commission I make goes toward my craft fund so I can continue to create and share with you.  xx)  The September 2025 release has now dropped, so don't forget to check out this adorable collection while shopping.

Supplies used:

Candy Christmas Collection with Stamperia

Gingerbread Train Etched Dies

Gingerbread Delivery Etched Dies

Gingerbread Plane & Banners Etched Dies

Gingerbread House Etched Dies

Sweet Borders Etched Dies

North Pole Sentiments Etched Dies by Simon Hurley

Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Etched Dies by Lisa Horton

Plaster 3D Embossing Folder by Simon Hurley

While I was only sent dies for creating, this collection also includes beautiful papers, die cuts, rub-ons, and more -- all of the elements that you love from Stamperia.

The blue cardstock I used in the background is from last year's advent calendar box.  LOL  Not kidding!  I deconstructed the box and saw this lovely blue and trimmed it down and set aside.  I think it is the perfect pastel blue for these cards.

I used the Plaster 3D Embossing Folder by Simon Hurley in the background because it truly looks like delicious frosting.  While not very noticeable, I did lightly ink the raised edges of the embossing with white ink.  The effect is subtle.  The candy cane is from the Gingerbread Delivery Etched Dies.  The sentiment banner is from North Pole Sentiments Etched Dies by Simon Hurley.

I used the clouds, die cut from vellum, and the sentiment banner from Gingerbread Plane & Banners Etched Dies.

The detail on this train is impressive.  I did change up some of the bits and bobs, which I think is what makes dies with all of these details so fun.  For example, I added the frosting or whipped cream dollops atop the two center train stacks and tucked the wee heart piece on the left train part.  (I do not know train part names, apologies.  Words like "sticky-uppy part" are my usual verbiage.)  The adorable North Pole sign is from North Pole Sentiments Etched Dies by Simon Hurley and the present is from Gingerbread Delivery Etched Dies.

The Spellbinders new sale offer this week is on embellishments.  This is a great time to grab shaker mixes for your holiday cards and special twine for gift tags.  (I purchased a couple of the fun holiday mixes myself.)  Offer only available from 9/10/2025 - 9/14/2025, at 11:59 PST.
