Today I'm sharing several cards using some of the new Spellbinders January 2026 Club products. This month's theme is Bloom Bright, perfect for sunny, spring cards. Spellbinders Clubs: How It Works

I chose not to stitch the butterfly, but used the stitched die to deboss the wing details instead (using a rubber mat).

I created Echinacea cone flowers for my first card, using the 3D embossing folder to embellish the background.

The flowers on my second card were inspired by Black-eyed Susans. We have these beautiful flowers in our front garden bed and they always make me think of my grandmother. I used the new Press & Foil plate for the background and love how it grounds the card.

This card is my youngest daughter's favorite - she loves the simplicity, as do I. I wanted to create a full butterfly and she turned out lovely! The background was pressed with whatever ink was left after pressing the second card, just like shadow stamping. I shadow pressed. :)

I used the following Distress Oxide Inks for my stenciled panels:
Tumbled Glass
Broken China
Picket Fence
Squeezed Lemonade
Seedless Preserves
Villainous Potion
Black Soot
Carved Pumpkin
Dried Marigold
Mowed Lawn
Twisted Citron
All panels were treated with a nice sprinkle of Splatter White Opaque Watercolor SCS-328.

I inked my poppies in two colors - purple and orange - on both white and kraft cardstock panels. I was curious to see how the same inks would look on both panels.

I love how rustic and organic the inking looks on kraft! But that doesn't surprise me, I love using kraft. The inking has such a soft almost ethereal look that makes me swoon.

The orange on kraft in particular is just sort of magical, do you agree?

I wanted to have a blue sky background to help the orange pop (since they are complementary colors) so I inked the panel first. Distress Oxide inks can layer (mostly) and I was counting on that. The orange mostly covered the blue but where it still peeks through is perfect! It creates a really great shadow, if you will.
