Beautifully Zen Upcycled Library Card and Rolodex Card with Gecko Galz

I found some wee bits of time to play in the Gecko Galz image challege -- incorporating grounded, Zen-inspired quotes to accompany such a beautiful image.  (Affiliate links used throughout; I appreciate your support!)  In fact, I may use this image for my Spring Fling ATC Swap, which is still open for signups.

Stitched Memory Dex Cards Die Set from Scrappy Boy Stamps
Peacock Feathers Stencil from Hero Arts (newer version)
Gold Glitter Gel
Curiosities Silhouette Dies from Hero Arts (a fav that seems to have been retired)
Ocean Princess sequin mix from Mixing My Way

There is something so deeply beautiful about this image.  I absolutely love it.

"Each morning, we are born again.  What we do today is what matters most."  Buddha

I chose similar blue backgrounds, embellishing with white diecuts, a smattering of sequins, and typed sentiments.

My daughter loved the sentiment selected for the memory dex card -- a wonderful daily mantra of self-acceptance.  I did mist the front of the memory dex with a sheer shimmery mist (similar to this one).

"To be beautiful means to be yourself.  You don't need to be accepted by others.  You need to accept yourself."  Thich Nhat Hahn

I did quickly swipe the shimmer from her face and attempted to capture the delicate shimmer in the photo above.
