Today I'm sharing a set of cards using the new Spellbinders October 2025 collection Beautifully Imperfect. These products are perfect for lovers of mixed media or anyone that wants to play with incorporating mixed media elements onto cards (but is not sure where to begin). My first pair of projects are standard A2 sized cards (4.25" x 5.5"). I used both embossing folders on the cards, lightly inking the embossed edge with white on the kraft cardstock and every so lightly with gray on the white. I can't tell you how much I love both of them -- so much incredible detail!
My second pair of cards are A7 (5" x 7"), providing a larger canvas to embellish.
I only used a single color for the stenciled background -- lightly inking one layer and then heavily blotching and blending the second. What an amazing texture that created, don't you think?
Those of you that have followed my projects know I love to color every cat into a calico. My dear sweet Eva is my pumpkin and an old lady at 15.5 years old. She is always my inspiration.
I honestly don't know that I have a favorite - I really love each one for a different reason. Do you have a favorite? I'd love to know. :)
